Research Affiliates Program

The Centre for Health Care Ethics and the Centre for Education and Research on Aging and Health developed a common policy to guide the selection and appointment of Research Affiliates to each centre. The purpose of appointments of Research Affiliates is to create an interdisciplinary network which promotes research, seeks peer reviewed funding and shares expertise while facilitating mutual support of researchers and mentoring graduate students. These research activities are complemented by the delivery of interdisciplinary discussions, lectures, workshops, and continuing education programs.

Research Affiliates have the opportunity to join other researchers of the Centre in existing projects and collaborate with the Centre on new projects. Affiliates are expected to acknowledge the affiliation with the Centre in publications, presentations and other communications related to research done in conjunction with the Centre.
